MGHS Welcomes New National Honor Society Inductees

The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in activities of the National Honor Society in chapters across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, many U.S. Territories, and Canada. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but also challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

Induction into the National  Honor Society is a prestigious distinction awarded only to the most proficient students.  Few students are nominated for induction, and even fewer are accepted.

On Friday, January 15, 2016, thirteen students were formally inducted into the Miller Grove High School Chapter of the National Honor Society.
