Welcome Back!

I would like to take a moment to welcome you to the second semester of the 2015-2016 academic school year.  I hope that each of you had a safe and wonderful holiday break.  As we begin this second semester, let us each keep in mind the goals and objectives that we set for ourselves entering this school year.

The first semester began with excitement and apprehension for many of our students because they did not know what to expect this school year.  Now that we are at the midway point, many of you are on course to meet the goals and objectives that you and your parents have set for yourselves.  Although a few of you may have had some difficulty during the first semester, it is not too late to readjust and recommit to the goals that were set forth prior to the beginning of the school year.

In order to ensure that you are moving forward to meet your academic goals for this semester, please make sure that you are (1) attending school daily, (2) studying and completing assignments daily, (3) taking advantage of the tutorial services available both at school and online, and (4) adhering to ALL school rules and regulations to avoid suspensions.  In addition, we must make sure that we are preparing for April’s End-of-Course Assessments which are calculated as 20% of your final grade in all EOC courses.
